So Saturday morning Ashton came in to my room and woke me up with a silly wig on his head. It gave me a chuckle and started the day off right. We stayed in our pj's all day and played wii, watched christmas movies, and did a whole lot of nothing. It was just what the Dr. ordered. As I was beginning to feel guilty about not doing anything big with Ashton or getting him out of the house, we were getting ready for bed and he told me he had such a good day and that I "make his heart super happy!" It was soooo cute. I love his sweet heart.
Then last night as we were on our way home for the evening the boys noticed how dirty and salty my car was and decided we needed to wash it off. I refused to get out of the car and spray it down so the boys took it upon themselves. Ashton got a hold of the sprayer hose and thought he was doing such a good job until his favorite friend showed him the trigger on the sprayer! He pulled back and the hose shot off with full force... Ashton screamed at the top of his lungs like a little girl in excitement "I DID IT" I was in the car taking pictures and laughing at the sight of him so excited. Once he got the hang of the sprayer he was doing it himself, but because it was hard for him to handle he kept spraying all over the place. Needless to say the boys ended up wet and cold. I love my boys so much and appreciate them taking care of me and my car!

Thanksgiving
Ok so I know it has been a while... but thanks to my cute co-worker Darcie I decided to try my hardest to keep this blog thing up!
Thanksgiving this year was great! I got to sleep in thanks to Nana, and when I woke up we made cookies and pies... MMMMM. We all went over to my Aunt Stacy's for dinner and had such a good time with the family. We went around the room and stated what we were thankful for and it was really sweet to hear what everyone was grateful for. Mostly that grandpa Bob had just been released from the hospital and for our family and friends we love so much. Ashton was grateful for his parents (me)and his family. It was so sweet and I didn't even tell him what to say. Daniel and his sisters came with us too, it was so nice to have them there.
Then later that night we went to my Aunt Kathleen's house for a second dinner... you can never eat too much turkey dinner. We enjoyed all the company and good vibes that came along with.
Once we left I took Ashton home and put his to sleep and headed out for some Midnight shopping. BIG mistake! We first went to Toys R Us and it was a mess. There were lines around the entire store, not all the registers were open, and you couldn't even get into the electronics because it was blocked off??? Weird I know, so we left. Then we headed to Wal-Mart to fight the crowds there... to our surprise there wasn't any crowd to fight off! It was nice and we shopped until about 5am then I crashed!
The next morning was bitter-sweet but all in all Thanksgiving was great and I am so blessed to have such an amazing and loving family!
